Bicycling way finding
Parking facilities, especially those that are less visible, must be easy to find from the cycle paths. Also for cyclists who pay less attention. The examples show that we can do this through smart thinking, going inside the heads of the cyclists, clear signage, recognizable designs, and also made of long-lasting material.
Way Finding to new station parking garages.
We created a recognizable icon that is placed on the cycle paths. First some prints that point ahead, then some that point to the new bicycle shed. We would like to make an appointment for an explanation of the various printing techniques, as the street surface can be very diverse.

A lot can be invested in parking options on the street and indoors, but if cyclists cannot find them, they are worth little. In Amsterdam we have installed striking and functional way finding, that was designed in cooperation with Way Finding Agency Mijksenaar.

When a street is redesigned, traffic must be diverted. In cities with a high number of cyclists, this means special referral for two-wheelers. Just like other ground communication expressions, we came up with special street icons for bicycle diversions, combined with signs on poles.
