Park & Walk: when you can’t park at the door
Let’s be honest: everyone on a bike wants to park right in front of the door. But in busy city centres or during large events, that’s often not possible. Instead of letting bikes pile up where they don’t belong, Bikenine created a friendly, clear solution: Park & Walk.
The system uses a visible pole with the Park & Walk symbol to guide cyclists to designated parking spots just a short walk away. The symbol is supported with white-lined parking zones and extra communication to make the location easy to find. Over time, we upgraded the posts with solar panels—removing the need for street power—and made the system mobile, so it could easily be moved as needed.
We also introduced temporary mobile Park & Walk poles for events, helping make the system more recognizable and strengthening its reach through consistent branding and public awareness.
With Park & Walk, we don’t just create order—we create clarity. And cyclists actually follow it, because it makes sense.
