How to create fair and livable environments? That is what Catalien is passionate about. Don’t plan in an Ivory Tower, but get to know the people, the users. With a background as an Urban Designer, Catalien knows how to plan a city. As a project manager, she learned that paper plans are not reality. Therefore she focused on the realization of projects in bicycle infra and promotion in Amsterdam. By making a vision for enjoyable green routes, organizing bicycle lessons, and promoting bicycle use among new workers. Now Europe is facing challenges due to climate change, she is ready to accelerate the preparation and implementation of sustainable mobility plans.
